Surf Lessons
Do you supply the equipment?
Yes. It is included in the surf and sup lesson package.
What do I need to bring?
Make sure to bring your swimsuit, towel and sunscreen.
Can I keep the equipment to use after the lesson is over?
You are able to rent the surf board or stand up paddle board for a daily or weekly rental after your lesson.
What happens if it is lightening or thundering?
Safety comes first and we will never run a class if we hear thunder or see lightening! If a storm is approaching, we will monitor the situation for your safety.
What happens if there are no waves or the ocean is too rough?
Our times for our lessons are not set in stone. We can not control mother nature, so sometimes we may need to change the time of your lessons due to weather or ocean conditions. We will not have lessons if red flags are flying!
How many people will be in my lesson?
That all depends on if you chose a group or private lesson. If you do not want to take a class with strangers, we would suggest a private lesson. Our ratio for surf lessons is 4 to 1 for group and 3 to 1 for private.
Can I have my surf or SUP lesson in front of my cottage?
ou would need to pay the private lesson fees to have your lesson in front of your vacation cottage.
Are your surf instructors allowed to except tips?
Tipping is of course at your discretion and is greatly appreciated by our surf instructors.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards including AMEX and cash. We DO NOT accept checks. You are able to book your lesson online or call 252-441-4030. Please leave a message if it is after hours and we will return your call promptly.
